What are your hours?
3 PM to 2 AM, every single night of the year — including holidays. Happy hour runs 3–8 PM daily.
Is there a happy hour?
Every day, 3–8 PM: $5 beer options, $5 well drinks and shots, $8 cocktails. Five hours a day, 365 days a year.
Can I really buy liquor to go?
Yes. Our liquor license dates to 1905 and is grandfathered to let us sell packaged liquor, beer and wine to go — one of the only bars in LA that can. Look for the neon: Liquor Here, Liquor To Go.
Is the bar 21+?
Yes, 21+ at all times with a valid ID. Patio included.
Do you take reservations?
No reservations for regular nights — walk in, there's room. For groups and buyouts, hit the private events page and we'll set you up properly.
What's there to do besides drink?
A gold-felted pool table, three vintage arcade games, a photobooth, and a CD jukebox curated by the team — classics, 70s funk and soul, punk, hip-hop, and modern indie. High energy, no bummers.
Do you have a patio?
Yes — a plant-lined open-air patio, a rare thing in DTLA. Candlelit after sundown. It's 21+ like the rest of the bar.
What's the satellite bar?
A second little bar inside, open Thursday–Saturday, pouring a rotating weekly punch you can't get anywhere else — and the fastest way to grab your liquor to go on those nights.
Can I book the bar for a private event?
Yes — full buyouts and patio events for groups up to 110. Send the inquiry on our private events page and the events team will get back to you.
Where do I park? Is there transit nearby?
We're at 417 W. 8th St, between Olive and Hill. Street parking and paid lots surround the block, and the Metro 7th St/Metro Center station is a short walk. Rideshare drops right out front — under the neon.
What's the loyalty program?

Do you sell merch?
Shirts, hats and the famous glass ashtrays — at the bar, in the liquor-to-go case.
